Specialized Care Models

HNCLAS offers 24-hour staffed residential support for adults with complex needs. These individuals may exhibit high-risk behaviors, pose a risk to themselves, others, or property, require intensive intervention services, or have a history of mental health challenges or other high-risk lifestyle choices.
Our Complex Needs program offers specialized, evidence-informed support to adults with dual diagnoses, including developmental disabilities and mental health disorders that are concurrent.
HNCLAS works in close collaboration with the Support Approach Team and community health providers to design and implement individualized, comprehensive behavior support plans that promote safety, stability, and long-term well-being. We engage the services of a psychologist and psychiatrist on an as-needed basis.
